Dr. Anna Wu, an Oakland native, graduated with the highest distinctions from the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Education. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry, graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. She completed her clinical rotations at the Marin Community Clinic in Novato and the Veterans Affairs Hospitals in Miami and Honolulu.
Dr. Wu practices full-scope optometry and is licensed to diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. She is certified to fit specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses for keratoconus and dual focus and orthokeratology lenses for myopia management.
As an active member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Alameda-Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society, Dr. Wu stays at the forefront of her field. She is fluent in Cantonese (Toisan) and conversational in Mandarin, allowing her to serve a diverse patient population effectively.
